There are fears that the corona virus will or already has, totally exasperated the global nightlife crisis. However it’s a hopeful sign that the nightlife sector we operate in has learnt to organise itself on local, national and international levels.
An article in The Conversation states how:
“Since mid-March, organisations such as Nighttime.org and Global Cities After Dark have argued for public support to freelance DJs and bar staff, publicising online tools for the distribution of music and tracking developments as the life of cities changes from hour to hour.
“Having operated in crisis mode for longer than the current pandemic, the nightlife sector is now showing its strengths.”
